Sincere sympathies to The Burke Family on the sad passing of Fr. Timothy Burke.
Fr. Timothy was always a great supporter of Emly Gaa Club and all of its Activities and Officers. Of course, he also loved Tipperary Hurling and took great pleasure in seeing it's hurlers win those treasured Titles. He also took time to visit the pitch in Emly on his visits home during the Summer Holidays. He liked to meet the Players and offer encouragement. A Gentle Gael. Slan agus Beannacht. May he rest in Peace.

Sincere sympathy to the Burke family on the death of Fr Tim. I had the good fortune to know him for many years. I think we met through the Pioneer Association. Fr Tim was spiritual director to Birmingham region. I was regional president for some years.
Fr Tim was a regular visitor to my house in Great Barr. Usually called on his way home after banking the weekly collection. I used to joke that he should call on his way to the bank, when he would be worth robbing.
What a wonderful man. Birmingham and the Midlands is a poorer place without him. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Our deepest condolences, sadness and regret at the passing of Father Tim. He was by any definition a great man, a great friend to the family and a great professional colleague. I'll never forget him surreptitiously removing the price tag from the sole of the newly purchased wedding shoes of my son Adam, at whose wedding he was concelebrating, as we all solemnly knelt, to save Adam from embarrassment. This typified him: sensitive, generous, faithful and possessed of a mischievous sense of humour! We will always remember him in our prayers. God bless.
