I met Fr Ronan many years ago. He was a humble, gentle and wise priest. His encouragement and support to the Focolare community in Ireland especially in its early years was very important and much appreciated. He was much loved by all the Focolare in Ireland. My sincere condolences to Ronan's extended family on his recent death. As a Jesuit colleague over many years, I have always enjoyed his company and admired his apostolic zeal. May he rest in the peace of Christ.

I have very fond memories of Ronan visiting for dinner at my parents’ house (Karl & Eileen Quinn) on his trusty motorbike.

Saddened at Ronan’s passing. Sincere sympathy to Mary and Fionnula and their families and the Jesuit community. My memories go back to days when he was Captain of University Hall and student of Architecture UCD and then when he moved as a priest to the Sacred Heart church. May his gentle soul rest in peace
