Like many others, we well remember Fr Nevin's wonderful sermons when he was curate in Mount Merrion. Later, we renewed our acquaintance with him in St Kevin's, Harrington Street, where he offered the Traditional Latin Mass with such devotion and maintained his very high standard of sermon giving. Requiescat in Pace.

Sincere condolence to all of Fr Nevin's family. We will always be greatly appreciative for his honesty and straight talking. We had the pleasure of him taking part at our wedding ceremony which I am sure it was quite difficult for him back then as it was in a different Church and a mixed marriage.
May you rest in Peace.

Eternal rest grant unto Fr Nevin, O Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon him.

Our sympathy to Very Reverend Father Gerard Deighan & the Community at the Dublin Oratory in Formation, Saint Kevin’s, Harrington Street;
to his fellow priests of the Archdiocese of Dublin;
and, to the Benedictines of Fontgombault.

We thank God for his life as a Priest, and for Offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin,
for his great fidelity to the Latin Mass, for his learned & scholarly intelligence, for his wonderful kindnesses & splendid hospitality at his gracious 'piano nobile' apartments in the Presbytery, Harrington St, for his enriching & wonderfully uplifting conversation - we are most grateful.
