Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of meeting Dick but he was held in high esteem by all his Tallow cousins. Thinking of you all this difficult time. May Dick rest in peace.

Dear Joan, my deepest sympathy to you and to Sinead, Noreen, John, Mary, Eimear and Aoife, and your extended family, on the sad and sudden passing of Dick. My Mam, Teresa, was Dick’s first cousin. Many years ago when he was young, Dick would come by train on holidays to Tallow and my Mam would pick him up at the station. I met you all once in Dublin at my Aunt Mary’s home - another first cousin - and I remember a lovely and lively bunch! Happy memories of those days. Thinking of you all at this very sad and difficult time. Unfortunately, I can’t make the funeral on Monday but I will be looking in and I will be there in spirit. Rest in peace, cousin Dick. Deepest sympathy also to our Barron and Ellickson cousins in Carlow, Waterford, Dublin, Drogheda and Melbourne. The Ryan family, Tallow.

My Condolences to Richards family , a lovely gentleman. While i would have called to his home Richard's independent ways ment he was happy to carry on without me , his determination was evident when i would drive past him out walking and smile to myself ,he did it his way .
