John, I was so saddened to hear of the death of your beloved wife, Rita. Such a beautiful lady who was blessed with many talents and accomplishments
I have some lovely memories of Rita, one of these is of both of you as guests at my mothers 100 birthday, looking stunning as always. Another is of times spent in sunny climes, a group of us enjoying leisurely swims in the sea followed by light refreshments which she so enjoyed in the sunshine.
My sincere condolences to you John, Orla, Julie, David, grandchildren and extended family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sending my deepest sympathy to the McMahon family. Rita was my first ever fashion tutor in Abbeyleix many years ago and helped me create my college portfolio to attend The National College of Art and Design. I will always remember her keen interest and patient approach to teaching. She was a true lady and I enjoyed meeting her in more recent times at the annual Arc fashion show for catch ups. I have no doubt she leaves her talent and skills with her many students she taught throughout the years.
