My sincere condolences to Miriam, Joseph and Rita’s extended family on her sad passing. I’ve known Rita since a child visiting the ‘Cigar Divan’ to purchase a particular ‘ parchment’ card they stocked, which my grandmother loved for occasions. She was such a stoic independent lady over the last number of years and was greatly comforted to continue residing at home with the assistance of her carers of whom she spoke so well.
Miriam and Joseph you were highly praised and knowing Rita I’ve no doubt overseeing her medical care was a challenge at times. She gave me regular updates on the latest advice you had given and it was quite obvious she felt deeply cared for. May she rest in peace.
