I have just heard of the passing of your Mam Rita, we were best friends growing up together on Clanmahon Rd, i am so sorry i missed her funeral Mass in Donnycarney Church i would have been there if i had known, my condolences to you Linda and your brothers, also to Paul and May, Rita was really lovely she contacted me a few years ago and we had several phone calls talking about the old days in Donnycarney, may she rest in peace.

To Rita's family I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt sympathy. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Rita's passing. I had the pleasure of only knowing Rita for 5 days but in those five days we never stopped laughing and having the craic. Rita you were such a stylish and elegant lady and spoke with pride about your children and grandchildren which you could tell she loved so dearly. Betty stay strong because that is what Rita would want you to do. Rita it was an honour to have met you. 💔🙏

So sorry to hear of Rita's untimely passing. Spent a lovely few days on the Galway/Mayo with her and all the lovely people. Shocked to hear from John that she had passed away. Condolences to her family and Betty who was with her. May her soul rest in peace.

So sad to hear of the sudden death of this lovely lady. We spent a fabulous week in her company on the mayo /Galway trip from Monday morning until Friday evening & she enjoyed every minute of it. It was beautiful to meet her- little did we think we would hear of her death two days later.
