I was saddened to hear of Robert's passing. He was a good friend of mine, and many others here in Ottawa; and brought a lot of joy into our lives over the years. A great guy to share a pint and a bit of time with, he always kept it interesting. And, he made great bread. which he generously shared with me on several occasions.. I have many fond memories of Robert in Ottawa and Kerry. My condolences to his Irish and Canadian families and friends. - ray amiro.

Jackie, Paul and Peter, we were really, really shocked and so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. He was far too young! We all have lovely memories of him as a little boy in Weston always smiling, happy and such a beautiful looking child. Our hearts also go out to his family and friends in Canada. RIP Robert x
