Mr. O'Brien, as I knew him, was my history teacher in the 80's. He always treated us with warmth and humour and a strong sense of equality which created mutual respect. He was very well liked. He often told funny stories and we laughed and learned at the same time. I am sad to hear of his passing.

Very Saddened to hear of Robbies Passing. My deepest condolences to Noreen, Noelle, Lara. To His Sister and Kieran and Sean. To all the O' Brien Family and friends. Many happy memories of Robbie teaching us in the Sem. He was great fun, with great stories. A teacher who was greatly respected by all. He had time for everyone.
