Dear Ann-Marie, Ciaran, Brendan and Hannah. I am completely shocked and saddened to have just learned of Roger’s passing. Roger was one of life’s greatest. His wonderful personality and sense of humor is unsurpassed. It was my privilege to have known him and to have had memorable times in his company. R. I.P. Roger.

My sincere sympathies to you on your loss. Meeting Roger in the canteen in Carrickmacross was always a pleasure with a witty anecdote to be told guaranteed to give all present a belly aching laugh. It invariably involved a reference to his much loved children and we were familiar with you all by name. He will be forever missed and loved within the Council staff. Rest easy Roger.

So shocked and so sad to hear that Roger had died. I have lovely memories of times spent together in our 20s when we both worked in Mountmellick and of when he came to England with us for my brother's wedding. He was always so pleasant, happy, fun and a gentleman. My condolences to Rogers Mum, Noreen, to his brothers and sister and to Ann Marie, Brendan, Ciaran and Hannah. May he rest in peace.
