Ronan BRACKEN

All my prayers and thoughts to you Trina and all the family.
I met Ronan in 1983 when I joined the P&T. We looked after each other and had each others backs. When I say 'We', 90 percent of the time he looked after me.
The banter we had while working into the small hours, talking about everything.
I will always remember his sense of humour, the songs we would sing. Our really bad impressions of the tv shows and movies we had watched. One favourite movie being 'Blazing Saddles' and Ronan always saying ' Badges, We don't need no stinking badges.' And his other favourite saying for me 'Are you for real '
Everytime I think of Ronan, it always makes me smile. Rest in peace Buddy.

Deepest condolences to the family of my lovely cousin Ronan. Ronan and I spent a lot of time together as children and was like a brother to me. We never lost that closeness and love for each other. I learned so much about parenting from watching Ronan and Trina bringing up their own children and I will always be grateful for that.
Our two families spent a lot of time together in Portrane during our visits home in the summer. I have some great memories of card games and football games but it was his sense of humour that will always bring a smile to my face.
Sleep tight Ronan, you will always be in my heart.
