So very sad to learn today belated of Ronan (Ronnie’s) passing some weeks ago. I worked with Ronan for some years in Financial services and he became a good friend - smart and great craic . He was brilliant with people and everyone enjoyed his company. He loved his sport - GAA, rugby as well as the gaelige. Sadly I hadn’t seen Ronan for some years but I often remembered the hilarious stories & laughs. Gone too young. My sincere condolences to Harry particularly , Chris and the O’Reilly family .
— Johnny McGovern
Niamh, Mrs O’Reilly, Clíona , Deirdre and extended family - my deepest and sincerest condolences to you all on the passing of Rónán. May he Rest In Peace and rise in Joy.
— Veronica Baker
Harry, Christine and all the O’Reilly Clan, my deepest sympathies.
Ronnie will always be a true legend! He was a kind of infectious nonsense that was so much fun. He looked first for the good in people and then for the craic.
I have great memories and stories from time spent with him, and I learned a lot from him about myself.
Thanks Ronnie!!!
Now go find Sasquatch and ask him yourself if he is more into Sabbath or Jimi Hendrix.
— Pedro

I’m deeply saddened to hear just now that Rónán passed away last Thursday. It is probably the best part of 30 years since I last saw him but there was a time, in our teens, when we were inseparable. Mostly I recall a carefree friendship, laughter, and also his acute intellect. He was probably one of the first people who really challenged me to contemplate more deeply my understanding of things. Sincere condolences to all of his loved ones. Rest peacefully Ronnie.
