So sorry to hear of Rose's passing. A lovely lady it was always a pleasure to meet. Wadelai Road wont be the same without Rose.

Rose was a wonderful woman who helped me greatly in my political career over many years. She was a great person to canvas with as she seemed to know everyone in Glasnevin & Finglas East from her years of community involvement.

Rose's funeral spoke silent volumes. The large volume of people, the dignity of her family and the support of her friends was very obvious. All clear signs of a remarkable women. My Mam (Theresa), although she has dementia, still has fond memories of Rose with the local Glasnevin Active Retirement group and when they both worked many many years ago at Turners' Sweet Shop on Manor Street. My sincere condolences to all of Rose family, very fond memories of Rose throughout the years with my Mam and Dad (Harry & Babs), many a day spent debating politics and GAA in the house, and of course her lifelong friendship with my aunty, Rosaleen O’Hanlon galavanting into Dublin on the 19A, you couldn’t keep up with them.
