From the moment we met Rose and first enjoyed her Irish stew, we loved her! She accepted our son into her heart when he married her daughter, and included all of us as a part of her family. She was truly a loving and giving person; she was blessed with a wonderful life and we will miss her so much! Rest in peace dear friend.

Harrison, Marshall, and Meghan, both Sarah and I are saddened to hear of Rose's passing from this wonderful world in which we are privileged to live. Fond memories from my childhood come flooding back from visits to my grandparents in Blackrock where Rose's sister Kay would make us ever so welcome, and proceed to update us in detail on the status of Rose and Brigid in America. It seemed like they were part of our family especially as their uncle Tom Reid lived up the lane beside us. When we went to live in North Carolina I had the pleasure of meeting Rose and Brigid on my visits to Colorado and California where I was made ever so welcome. These are memories from years ago when Marshall and Meghan were just 9 or 10 years old.
Sincere condolences to Harrison, Marshall, and Meghan, including extended family.
