Rose Marie and Des were great friends and neighbours to my parents, myself and my siblings in Fortfield Drive for our childhood , teenage and college years and much beyond. They were the "benchmark" of neighbourliness and kindness to everyone on the road, especially in times of need. Their selfless help and support extended to my parents as they aged was very appreciated. Rose Marie was particularly attentive in keeping in touch when we grew up and left the area, always marking occasions with a little letter or gift. The loss of Sandra was borne with great courage. MAy she rest in peace
