So sad to read about Rosie's passing, given that we reacquainted after many years, during her time at St Peters while my Mother was also there. I was pleasantly surprised that she remembered me, and she also recalled that she was indeed my God-Mother.. Condolences to Johnny and all of Rosie's family.

The end of an era which started 50 years ago when I was a student in my first job and my first time in London. I met Rose in the HR office in the Aer Lingus London Tara Hotel, she was starting as Assistant Head Housekeeper and I was starting as a Chambermaid. She was my boss and what a lovely , caring , kind boss she was to all us young Irish girls . We all loved her and would do anything she asked us. Our friendship continued when Rose moved to Harlesden and we were always welcomed in West Ella Road by Rose and Jimmy. On their retirement to Louth we were frequent visitors to their home and to John and Mary's home. May Rose and Jimmy be reunited in Heaven, free from all pain. Our deepest sympathies to John and Mary, Margaret, Catriona, Olivia, Sean and Paul and their families, her sisters in law and their families. May Rose's gentle soul rest in peace.
