Dear Gay , Stuart and all of your families. I was delighted to be able to attend the funeral today, listening to you we were left with a lovely sense of your Mother, Ruth, how nice but how kind she has been and so all the greater the loss. The day, yes sad, was lovely the weather eased at all the right times almost as if orchestrated. I didnt meet her all that often at Rutland but liked her and not just because I was given a gin and tonic, which I was. With that simple evidence, all we heard today is true and so you'll miss her all the more and you have my condolences for your loss, and any support I can give. Peter
