Deepest Sympathy to Michael and the family on the sad loss of Sally RIP
— Teresa Moore nee Dempsey
Auntie Sally was a good friend of our mother, Bernie de Burca, who passed away almost two years ago now. They both shared a love of travel, wine, and good conversation. Sally was a role model for her nieces as she was the first real feminist we knew when we were younger. Sally was not afraid to be outspoken when needed and she also had a great sense of humour and the ability to see the funny side of things. In recent years when we visited her we were still struck by her grace, dignity and positivity in the face of many challenges. It was lovely to see her being supported by her husband Micheal, her daughter Marion and all of the rest of the Bourke family during the past few years. We were very sad to hear about her passing and hope that she is in a much better place now. May she rest in peace. The de Burca Family
