Our deepest sympathy to Mary and your family; friends, neighbours on your loss of Seaghan from this life. Your faith will be your strength as you grieve his loss from your lives. Such a gifted, kind, light-hearted man - my first job back in the 70s was with the Health Board in Merlin Park where Seaghan held a position in management - he made everyone feel like they belonged. May Jesus' Face shine upon you and be gracious to you Seaghan - Rest in Eternal peace.
— Phil (Higgins) Daly & Vincy Daly, Chicago
I was devastated to learn of the very sad and unexpected passing of Seaghan. We spent many times on the mall discussing past and upcoming rugby matches. Such a lovely friendly gentleman. I will miss his friendly wave and smile greatly. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
— Mary Gaynor, All seasons flowers, Lucan.
So sorry to hear of Seaghan's passing. He was one of those people you always loved bumping into as he was always upbeat and up for a chat. From Under 10 Coaching to the promotion of Gaeilge through to organising of trips for more "seasoned" members, his contribution to Lucan Sarsfield's was enormous and many faceted. Those trips were much appreciated by our late father. Thinking of you Mary, Eoin, Gráinne and Sinéad.
— Eoin Walsh, Lucan and Corofin, Co. Clare
Sincere sympathy to all the family on the sad passing of Seaghan.
It was always an absolute pleasure to be in his company - and I have always remembered how welcoming he was to me when I joined Lucan Sarsfields - many years ago. He always went out of his way to ensure I was integrating into the club and was an absolute powerhouse of a character. A man who has left a legacy to be truly proud of.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Sincere condolences to Mary, Eoin, Gráinne, Sinéad, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and extended family on the untimely passing of a true Gael, RIP. Seaghan was a remarkable gentleman who treated everyone with interest and respect. Seaghan's commitment to the 1980's Under 10 Football Coaching Scheme, Juvenile, Minor, U 21 and Senior Hurling, along with Senior and other Camogie teams, benefitted so many players, mentors and Club supporters, which led to lifetime friendships.

Seaghan used his many talents wisely to care for family, colleagues and friends, always with empathy and understanding. His support of the Club Lotto, Cúpla Focal Club, Scór competitions, Sarsfield's many fundraisers and his development of the Social Initiative, stand out as testament to his unique commitment to, and support of, all who journeyed on his life path.

It was an honour to have known Seaghan, and been in his company, as he willingly adopted the role of confidant and advisor to those in need, both on and off the field. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Sincere Condolences to Sean's family on his sad passing . Sean was a dear and sincere friend growing up in Kilkenny in the 60's. We first met when the Presentation Convent Legion of Mary girls met up with their counterparts in the CBS for Whist Drives (!!) etc and then it was Kilkenny Teenage Association of which we were founding members. Sean was a Wonderful Organiser even then . Always the Gentleman and always a Genuine Friend. May his Gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Sheila Kelly Jarrett, Kilkenny and Annapolis, Maryland USA

Comhbhrón ó chroí do mhuintir Uí Langáin. Duine uasal amach is amach a bhí i Seaghán agus chuir sé le chuile shórt lena chuid grinn agus miongháire. Aireoidh mé go mór uaim é, go háirithe a chuid scéalta bariúla agus ag cloisteáil faoina chuid turas thar sáile. Go raibh maith agat ó chroí a Sheagháin as muid uile a spreagadh ní hamháin ar an bpáirc imeartha ach ar ghnáthpháirc an tsaoil chomh maith.

Deepest sympathy to Mary, Eoin, Gráinne, Sinéad, extended family and friends on the very sad loss of Seaghan, R.I.P.

I was privileged to have worked with Seaghan at the LGMSB/LGMA. A highly capable and kind man who always made time for a jovial chat, treating all who came his way in equal measure.

A family man, I recall a staff event being held at work for Seaghan to mark his retirement. Although he was the focus of attention, when his phone rang and he saw who was calling he took the call without hesitation. It was one of his daughters calling him and he went on to have a conversation with her, despite the occasion, and in a way including her in the room. This memory has stayed with me as a lesson on what to prioritise in life.

Ní bheidh a leithéid ann arís. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
