We at Holland / svHTC send our deepest condolences to family and friends of Seamus Donegan. We still remember Seamus very well, our Irish football friend from Arklow Town FC. About twenty years ago there was an exchange between Arklow Town FC and SV HTC (Zwolle / The Netherlands). Seamus visited Zwolle several times in that time. He was closely involved with the Arklow team and helped where necessary. Also, when we visited Arklow Seamus was there. Seamus was part of the friendship we shared. We know Seamus as a true ambassador of Arklow Town FC who we were very fond of. This must be a great loss for family and all his friends.

Thanks Seamus for the friendship you gave us. We will cherish the beautiful memories. Rest in peace. We will never forget you.
— On behalf of sv HTC (Zwolle /Holland). Jan and Nan ter Burg

So sorry to hear of Seamus' passing. Sincere condolences to Charlotte, Fiona and Emer on your great loss. He was a truly lovely gentleman and a decent human being. A great Arklow Town man and a true friend. In 1973 I asked him for a loan of his car to go to Marie's fathers funeral in Hacketstown. He didn't refuse and was wise enough not to give it but drove Roy Foxton and myself to the funeral. What a wonderful man. May he rest in peace.
