Sincere condolences to Edda, Ciaran, Cormac their families and to my Mum, Niamh, and her brothers Diarmuid and Tomas.
We are all saddened by uncle Séamus' passing, though relieved for him that it was relatively speedy in the end. We were all fond of Séamus, thanks to his humour and direct, relatable personality. Although it's unlikely he set out to inspire others, through living his life as he did - being a leader at work, marrying a non-national (wonderful aunty Edda), climbing mountains and staying active into old age - he became someone I looked up to and no doubt others did too. I will always appreciate this and the accommodation shown to me to be able to have thanked him in person today. You are all in our thoughts. // Fergal, Lotte, Seán, Oskar, Lucas and Erin.

Dear Edda, Ciaran, Cormac and your families. I am so sorry for your loss. I was so fond of my uncle Seamus, he was always so interested, kind and generous. I enjoyed the annual Christmas card in recent years and have lovely memories of time spent with him and Edda and yourselves as a child. I feel lucky he was my uncle. Love and warmest wishes from Una, Harvey, Teddy and Francis
