To Des, Peggy and all the family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the untimely passing of Seamus RIP. My sincere sympathies to everyone. I pray that you will find consolation in all the lovely memories you have of him.

Shocked and saddened to hear about the untimely passing of Séamus. He joined the teaching staff of the then Presentation Convent Castlecomer a couple of years before I completed my Leaving Certificate but even then as a young Irish teacher, he made an impact. I bumped into him many many many years later - The Principal and his staff on a Christmas night out and me on a trip home from London - and in typical form, he had a ready smile and chat for the former student...ní bheidh a leithéid ann aris. Sincere condolences to his family at this very sad time.

I have wonderful memories of my time working with Seamus from 1985-2015. He was a great friend and colleague and I enjoyed working under his guidance as Principal for 10 years. He was very supportive,encouraging and approachable and I always valued his advice. His sense of humour often brightened a dull day and helped create a lovely working environment for both staff and students.
I will always treasure the memories.

Rip Seamus what a Man.. still remember the hurling team talks in Castlecomer Community School in the 90s when we wer about to board the bus to take on the mighty St Kierans College.. your family and the people of Celbridge should be so proud of you.
