There you go Da, off into the sunset. Sure sorry to see you go and only wish it wasn’t quite so soon.

For a lifetime you fought with vigor, spirit and joy to be a force for good. Often times with remarkable success and good fortune, occasionally slamming into obstacles, but never deterred.

If there is an afterlife, know that you were loved and you are missed.

“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.”

Reading the condolences, it's clear Sean touched so many others as well with his gentleness, generosity, integrity, humor and intelligence. (And that charming, puckish streak he had) I got to call him my father-in-law and am so grateful. To me, he was a wonderful man and role model for us and our children - he was steadfast in his love and support for each in our family; always fun, warm and embracing. We will miss visits with him, his stories, laughs, walks, and tours of Ireland's historic and culturally important sites and the thoughtfully compiled histories he shared with us. I will miss his insights, his easy manner and the way he met your eyes with a smile. Rest in peace, Sean.
