Sincere sympathy to Carmel and the extended Hegarty family on the death of Seán. He was a remarkable person, humble, generous and loyal. I recall his acceptance speech at the Clare Association dinner when he was awarded the Clare Person of the Year. He gave a brilliant speech and one aspect remains with me when he stated that he learned everything in life from his home place in Bartra. A proud Clareman, he will be sadly missed.
