I met Sean in San Francisco through his sister, Renee. He would drop by her place for a cup of Barry’s and a good chat. I loved his laugh and his way of seeing things. He was a straight shooter, someone who had lived through some hard times and kept his sense of humor and compassion for others intact. A good man - may he rest in peace. My condolences to all of his family.
— Barbara Clarke
Words can hardly capture the depth of sorrow I feel upon learning of your loss and the passing of my mate Sean.

I met him in a foreign land on the other side of the world far away from Portarlington and me from Australia, London Irish originally, We connected, as we both went to those funny meetings.

While we walked and talked about everything in life he would stop as he gave his prepared Philippine pesos to his favourite beggars and  those who lived on the street.

We met often upon both of our returns to the Philippines. He always looked and spoke of our existence in a higher light than me.

Some people say don’t be sad people like Sean are going to a heaven.

But I am sad as I will be missing my great friend Sean.

I send my heartfelt condolences to Karen and Sean’s family

For Karen, Adrienne, Loraine, and all the family, many dear friends, and dear friends who have been treated like family: I'll never forget my first meeting with Seán. Enough said. It was life changing. No better friend than was Seán. He lit up my life. Rest and breathe easy now, my darling. Your advice, wisdom, wit, kindness, tolerance, and especially your comforting, warm and loving hugs-both physical and verbal, have prepared us. We've got this. Until we meet again, Love, PhylO

Sean and I were friends in the fellowship. We were both friends of Bill and Bob.

Only recently, Sean supported me at the end of a meeting when I was upset about my mother (my sparring partner) he spoke very lovingly about his daughters.

He was always ready with a kind a comforting word.

He was much loved and respected in our fellowship, and he will be missed and remembered fondly

Wishing you comfort and kindness during this difficult and sad time.
