SEAN O'FLYNN

We are so saddened to learn of Sean's passing. We had so many good memories of our times together. Sean was one of the brightest business colleagues that I had ever worked with. He was always offering help and provide good counsel to us. Many others benefited from his knowledge which he never failed to provide. On a personal level, we had so many fun, humorous and memorable moments together. Sean could always be counted on to regularly put me in my place or throw a good-natured insult my way. I learned a few inappropriate Gaelic insults from him (should a situation arise where they might be useful). While his loss makes our hearts heavy, I can never fail to think of him with a smile. May his memories provide comfort to your family and know you all are in our thoughts.

Very Sad to hear of Sean's passing. I worked for Sean for several years at Flexible Material Handling. Sean was my mentor in the conveyor industry, colleague, and most of all friend. Sean got me back in shape with help with his running training (Sean was a two-time winner of the Richmond Marathon). I enjoyed our runs in California, Lake Shore Drive, Midtown Manhattan and many runs in the park by his Cornelius Home. It was heartbreaking for me to read about the unexpected death of Sean,My deepest sympathy to the O’FLYNN family.
Although I did not know Sean for a long time, I found him to be a perfect gentleman and caring person.He was a delight to be with.

I have very fond memories of running Cross Country with Sean in the early 1970s. A nice person who loved his running and was a dedicated and loyal team member of leevale .

Sincere condolences to Michael, Anne and the extended family on the sudden death of Sean, taken from us much too soon. Coming from Derrynane and the Avenue, Sean and I were boyhood friends and we loved our running, be it with Chriost Ri, Fr Mathews, Leevale, Richmond Univ. etc. Whilst we travelled Ireland and beyond running, Sean was never happier than when he was gliding around the roads of his beloved Crosshaven. I smile when I think of Sean and even though time meant we did not meet as often, whenever I meet with his lifelong friends, Ray, Rita, etc it was guaranteed Sean was always included in our conversations. May he rest in peace. Hopefully he is running miles in the hereafter.

Sean was a good friend and member of the University of Richmond Cross Country and Track program. A fantastic distance runner and a leader on the track and off. I have fond memories of our many long runs together and will miss him greatly. My condolences to his family.

It is with great sadness to learn of the passing of Sean, an excellent student, great athlete and leader while attending the University of Richmond in Virginia. We have remained in touch with one another over the years and I'll always remember his kindness to all that he touched. He will be missed by all of his former teammates, coaches and friends.
