Sinead sincere condolences on the passing of Shane. Tragically taken by the dragon too soon. May he rest in peace.
— Willie O Connor
My deepest condolences to Shane's family, and to all who loved him. 'Grief is the price we pay for loving.' You hurt because you had the privilege of loving Shane so much.
To not have known, loved and had Shane in your lives would of been a greater loss.
May he watch over you all xx
Codladh sámh Shane 🤍🙏🕯

— Ronan
Donal, Sinead and family, I cannot even imagine what you are all going through, losing your child and brother. I know everyone is thinking of you and here to help. When I lost my dear mum and dad, something that helped me a bit was a saying someone gave me that - 'The people we love do not actually go away at all, they still walk beside us ever day' - Shane would want you all to continue doing all the good that you do, in honour of him. take care.
— Belinda
To dear Sinéad, Donal, Jake, Roisín, Yeshua and all who knew and loved Shane, I am truly sorry that life has dealt such a cruel blow to your family . May the God of Abraham , Jacob and Issac make Himself know to you in a tangible way at this time and ease the burden of your hearts . As parents God is not counting any of our mistakes but longs to draw alongside us and strengthen us . I work with teenagers and some years ago was led to write a book ‘you Were God s Idea’ specifically to communicate to our young people the incredible value they have as I saw so many struggling . May you find the courage to keep walking, knowing that God holds our tears in a bottle and promises one day to wipe every tear from our eyes . Much Love, mother of seven, Portroe , Co . Tipperary
— Anne Marie Mulrooney
I knew Shane through a number of close friends in town and through the community in Bray and hung out with him on a number of occasions around the year of 2019. He was such a kind soul, a sound lad and a lovely young man who was always a pleasure to meet. He was known by many and beloved by all who knew him well. My deepest and sincerest condolences to his parents, his family and all who loved him.
— Lukas Bubendorfer
Rest in peace forever dear beautiful Shane.
Sinead, I wish I had the right words, just know I care.
Sending you warm thoughts and gentle prayer x

— Travers Family , Straffan
In the words of a rebel love song " meanwhile crazies are killing our sons.... " how come they never say they're sorry, well I'm truly sorry and I hope the powers to be are held accountable for letting Shane slip through their hands like so many before him, may God comfort you but give you strength to be his voice and the voice of so many still in the system, shine on Shane, your light didn't get a proper chance in this life so shine brightly now ... you deserved better... 💙💙
— At Rest

— Dunboyne co meath
Asalaamu alaikom wa'rahmahtulahai wa'barakatuhu. No words are enough to express how a heart can break, how the love of a mother can be scalded beyond what she can bear, but bear it she must. I am filled with grief for the loss of such a sweet, deep thinking and gentle soul. I only knew Shane for the briefest of moments up in Bray School Project but he had an impact on me. Maybe it was his soulful eyes that would look at you in a way that you could almost feel him communicating with you on another level. Maybe it was because he just had that wistful way about him. For now and for always, he will remain young. May Allah Subhanuhu wa'ta'ala comfort, protect and guide you always Sinead... Jazak Allahu Khair - Ruth
— Ruth Feeley
