When Shannon joined Twitter, she introduced herself in a lovely, innocent way, telling us a little bit about herself by giving her name and age. And then she said "and everybody keep following me plz"... and we will. We will remember Shannon and will be keeping her family in our thoughts.

I was so saddened to hear of Shannon's passing. I was lucky enough to have met her over the last few months and really enjoyed our visits. Shannon had a great spark and was always willing to have a healthy debate over most things, but she was also exceptionally kind and funny and I will always remember her and the chats we had. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. She was such a beautiful girl with a heart of gold.
I have many fond memories of teaching her in St Peters.
