Shaun taught me in 5th and 6th classes in Cappoquin Boys National School many years ago.Remembering the famous spelling tests first thing every morning which were very effective! Then, those many projects in our geography class; the ‘surprise’ history tests; the Thursday afternoon sing-a-long as Shaun played the guitar and we wrote down the words of many ballads; the football leagues in our final term. Shaun was a good teacher and prepared us well for the next step in our educational journey. May he Rest-in-Peace.
