Shay KEOGH

Belated and Sincere condolences on the loss of Shay, a great man, and a beautiful footballer. On behalf of Joan Hennessy, wife of the late Liam Hennessy (Passed May 21st 2019), teammate and fellow Rovers legend with Shay. Also sincere condolences from all the Hennessy family. No doubt Shay and Liam are once more united in a better place, with all the Rovers legends who have gone before them. May he rest in Peace.

I just read Shay's obituary in Sunday Indo. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. With the restrictions it is not just sad but a lonely time. I was a great fan of Shay's and would love to attend a memorial for him and to meet up with you after so many years.

I was so sorry to hear of Shay’s passing. I first saw him play in 1959 in Miltown & the great game against Nice in Dalymount. He was Fantastic, a classy player. RIP

Its lovely to see the names here of old colleagues who worked with Shay in HB, Rathfarnham and a great tribute to his contribution to the company over many years.
Having found him again after almost thirty years in the wonderful Marley Nursing Home where my own Mam resides and where we shared many a chat it is with the greatest sadness that I have heard of his passing. We are very sad to learn of Shay’s passing. My Dad Myles grew up with Shay and it was a real treat for me to meet Shay last Summer when my Dad paid Shay a visit in Marlay. My Dad also passed yesterday and it’s so coincidental the two old pals finished their journey on the same day. May Shay Rest in Peace and our condolences to the Keogh family.
