Absolutely heartbroken for you all. I met Shay when we were teenagers in the Gaeltacht. We stayed friends for years. He was the gentlest of souls. Sending love to you all

Both Chris and I are so sorry to learn of Shay's passing from this life. He is now happy in heaven with his great friend Gerard Hagan Jr. who has gone before him. May God welcome Shay home to his eternal happiness and may he rest in peace.

Shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Shay’s (far too young) passing from a former close neighbour and friend in Kinvara Park. Deepest condolences to his wonderful dad Jim & wonderful sisters Louise and Suzanne. So many happy memories. Condolences also to his wife Ekin & young son Liam. May Shay rest in peace
