Sheila's good sense of humour and her rebellious spirit always reminded me of these lines from Jenny Joseph's 'Warning' : 'When I am an old woman I shall wear purple...I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired...And run my stick along the public railings...I shall go out in my slippers in the rain... Sorry to hear your sad news Roger. I don't think I ever bumped into either you or Sheila without the other being there. She was your partner on the wonderful adventure you shared. Words often fail but sweet memories mean so much more. Enjoy yours.

Sheila was a wonderful neighbour and a beautiful creative soul. Her poem in the Peotry Trail Book for the Fleadh about her mother's hair was so memorable I think about it often. My sincere condolences to Roger and the entire family at this awful time.

I remember first meeting Sheila in 2002. She was a beautiful, spirited lady. I loved talking to her on many subjects. Especially about Greenwich and London. She was very witty and clever. RIP Sheila.
