We are deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Sile’s sudden passing. Our deepest sympathy to Eamon and O’Connor family, in particular to Mary (O’Connell), extended relatives and so many friends. A wonderful intellect and independence of mind and expression now stilled. Her contribution to education, community and heritage will live on and enrich life in Ballymoe, Galway and Roscommon. Taken far too soon, RIP.

So sorry to learn of Sile's passing R.I.P. To all of her Family, our deepest condolences.
Sìle was an integral part of our lives for many years, through her work in our area - schools(where the children under her care learned that 'life is not defined by the contents of a book cover to cover'). She imparted so much general knowledge to them, they haven't forgotten. She remained interested in the youth, how they were progressing etc. - she liked to hear they were happy. Her involvement with local community and organisations endeared her to all.
