simon ward was like a brother to me. i knew him for 40 years. how i cried when i heard the news. he always made you feel welcome and special. i will never forget you simon. my thoughts and love go out to brenda and family.

You'll always be in our heats. One of the true gents that everybody loved. You will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Simon left a legacy of love and humor with an insatiable love of life. A great gift to those who were lucky enough to have known him.

I was truly lucky to have known, laughed and worked with Simon NYC. He was a ray of sunshine and had the ability to make anyone and everyone feel special. You are an angel Simon and now you are home. My deepest condolences to family and friends.

Simon was a great friend to me and I met him when he came to Miami to help open The Irish Times. Some of my best memories and great times were with Simon and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to the Ward family. He was one of a kind.

Simon was a very special friend, he was kind and honest and caring, he had the rare ability to make people feel special and at home. And he made them smile, the person you looked for in the crowd.

He looked out and after me when I moved to New York and I will never stop missing and loving him.
