Nick, Poppy and Family.

We remember Sinéad as a wonderful, kind and encouraging PE teacher who gave Juliet her love of hockey. Juliet recalls how neat Sinéad's office was and how she was always so organised, with everything colour coordinated. Sinéad also made the most incredible cake for Dan's Communion. She took the time to chat to him and made sure that she included every single thing that he asked for which brought him so much joy.

There are some that bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, the light remains. When you look to the sky and see twinkling lights, some are stars and some are openings in heaven where Sinéad's love pours through and shines down upon you. Always there.
We are so sorry to say farewell to Sinéad. Please accept our deepest condolences. Sinead was a beautiful person, inside and out.
— Marisa, Juliet and Dan Hickey

Dear Nick, Antoinette, Eimear, Muireann, Niamh, Ciaráin and Family, no words will ever be able to comfort your pain with Sinéad's unfortunate passing.
She was such a kind and loyal friend and so very, very thoughtful. Even though, I only got to know her in recent years, she a became a close friend and one that has definitely made a lasting impact on my
life. She was so brave especially when faced with her cruel battle over the past 15 months. Even in that short time, she continued to put herself last. She battled on time and again to give life to beautiful Poppy safely and provide Nick with their little miracle (mini Sinéad).
I've no doubt her Dad and little nephew Darach were waiting for her with open arms. I hope in time that Nick and her
loving family, will be able to take a tiny bit of comfort knowing that she isn't not alone, and is looking down over
you all.
I've no doubt, you will continue to see her live on through Poppy and I will look forward to seeing her mannerisms shine through.
Our deepest heartfelt sympathies to all of you on her untimely passing.
I'll NEVER forget you Sinéad or your beautiful smile. Sleep peacefully Sweetheart and give your lovely family the strength to carry on through the rough days ahead xxx
