So sad to hear the news about Sr Ann Marie, she was an great character and will be greatly missed. When she was in Tamworth she introduced me to my future wife. Rest in Pease Sr Ann Marie.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Sister Anna Maria was a very dear friend while she lived and served in Tamworth. She was a very special person who was kind and caring to everyone but who was also full of fun and mischief. She taught me so much about Life, about People and about Faith and the Importance of Our Faith in Our Journey in Life. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace

On behalf of the management, staff and residents of St Anne’s Nursing home I would like to offer our sincere condolences to her religious sisters in the congregation of the daughters of our lady of the sacred heart and the extended Byrne family on the passing of Sr Anna Maria. She was a deeply religious lady who put her faith in Gods will during her illness. She loved the company of her nieces and nephews and enjoyed her trips out for coffee or lunch with them and rarely declined the offer even when she was not feeling the best. She actively participated in the activities in St Anne’s and especially enjoyed the musical entertainment. It has been a pleasure to look after her for the last few years.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
