I was deeply saddened to hear the sad news of Sr. Attracta's passing.I have very fond memories of her teaching me in St.John Bosco's in Cahirciveen.She was incredibly kind to me & she had a great sence of humour & was always up for a little craic while all the time being a fantastic & talented teacher.Thank You Sr. Attracta for everything. We were good friends and spent many a happy occasion in the large dining room in the Presentation convent Killarney having tea and appletart .She was so welcoming ,gentle ,kind and so humble. My deepest condolences to the very many that loved Sr. Attracta, she was a wonderful human in so many ways. She taught me back in the very early 90’s and was aware that l had came from an incredibly abusive home. Very kindly she would take me over to the convent to feed me during lunch break, often the only food l’d have that week. She did this very discreetly and encouraged me to go to college. May your gentle soul rest in peace and thank you Sr. Attracta for caring Xxx

Sr. Atrracta taught me in secondary school in Cahersiveen in 1980s. She was kind and encouraging as well as being a really good teacher in terms of her own knowledge.
