From Mrs C Macallister, Headteacher, and the Governors of St Augustine's Priory, Ealing

It is with sadness that we have heard of the death of Mother Mary Ursula, a woman who gave so much to the life of both the convent and the school of St Augustine’s Priory. Joining the community as a young woman, she enriched the lives of all who knew her over many decades. Mother Mary Ursula was a true Augustinian and takes her place in the pantheon of extraordinary women who led the way in the education of young women from the very foundation of the convent and school in 1634. We celebrated the first Mass of the new school term today and offered it for the repose of the soul of Mother Mary Ursula. May she rest in peace.
— Headteacher & Governors of St Augustine's Priory, Ealing

From her arrival at the school when she joined the convent as a young woman in the 1960s, she was a committed and dedicated teacher and was much loved by the whole school community.
