She was loved by all who had the privilege to meet her smiling face, feel her always open warm hands and instantly had a place in her warm heart.
She brought many a smile to those most vulnerable and most in need of peace and comfort. She supported patient, family and staff as the final hours of life passed by.
We never saw her suffering but felt her support.
May you rest in peace dear Celestine.

My deepest sympathy to Sr Celestine's family particularly Paddy, who was married to a cousin (Kathleen Sinnott) of my dad, Billy Power. Sr. Celestine never failed to visit me on the occasions of birth to my three sons at Airmount Maternity Hospital and always brought me a little gift. I remember her as a kind and gentle soul.

It is my privilege to be able to join you this morning online for Celestine's Mass, thank you. When I see her smile I think fondly of the laughs and joy she brought to the Gynae ward in Clonmel. She was one of our first visitors here in our home and a friend to us all.

Very sorry to hear of Sr Celestine's passing. I have fond memories of visiting her and Sr Mary D'Arcy when they lived in Clonmel and later in Carrick. They were two great women.

I had the great pleasure of working in the Mercy Convent where I became friends with Sr Celestine "Cele" as we called her. She was such a loving kind person. We used to have great chats and giggles she was a beautiful person inside and out. Huge condolences to family and friends a great loss

We have many fond memories of Celestine from the Convent in Clonmel and later Carrick On Suir.
We still have the beautiful yellow blanket she made for our son 27 years ago!. She was so talented in many ways, and her greatest gift was her warmth and empathy that endeared her to all she met and helped throughout her life. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Sr. Celestine.
