I was saddened to hear of the death of Sr. Cora. She was a remarkable, inspirational woman. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with her in Barkorwa, Western Keyna in the 90’s. Sr. Cora was a very generous kind lady and a fantastic ‘role model’. Deepest sympathies to her family and the Sisters of Mercy Community. I will fondly remember her beautiful smile and her gentle way. Rest in peace Cora.

I had the pleasure of knowing this lady for a short while. May she RIP

It was very sad to hear about Cora's death. I had the privilege to meet this lovely and sweet lady with whom I had the pleasure of spending a few hours every week for almost a year. My sincere feelings to all the sisters of the convent and family.

I Ihad the privilege of living with Sr. Cora in Barkorwa in 1992. She was a woman of great love and integrity. She bought me a cow when she was leaving Barkorwa in 1994. May the Almighty God rest her soul in peace. Thank God for her life.

I was saddened to learn of the death of Cora. May she rest in eternal peace. I had the privilege of working with her in Spirasi North Circular Road in the Education department in the early noughties. She was passionate about education and the teaching of English to refugees and asylum seekers there. We shared many resources as well as many laughs and cups of coffee. I have lovely happy memories of her which I treasure always. My sympathy to her sisters in community and to her Kerry family.

It was with sadness that I heard of Sr Cora's death. My sincere sympathy to her Sisters in Community, to all the Sisters both at home and abroad and to her family. She was a woman of wisdom, compassion and integrity. I had the privilege of working with her when she was Head Teacher of St Barnabas Girls' Secondary School. Barkorwa. She worked tirelessly. Among her other tasks she taught English to the students. She was a friendly warm person with a lovely sense of humour! I believe she is now enjoying true peace in her heavenly home.

Very sorry to hear about the passing on of Sr. Cora. Sincerest sympathy to the Sisters, South Central Province, and to Cora’s family and friends. Cora was a person of great integrity and compassion.. she was also a person of vision. Her students of 1950s to 1976 still remember here in Kenya. May God Rest her generous soul in peace.

Deepest sympathy to all the sisters of Mercy South Central Province and to the family and friends, on the passing of Sr Cora. She did extraordinary work here in Kenya. She was headmistress of Our Lady of Mercy secondary, Regional superior. She worked in Kibwezi and in Formation as well as helping out the English Mercies in Barkorwa secondary school. In 1984 she visited Nairobi as superior general. She was distressed to see so many children from Mukuru slums on the streets. She requested me to assist them. Due to her intervention over 10,000 Mukuru children are in school and the population accessing health and social services. She was a woman of great vision and compassion. May she Rest In Peace.
