Sister Dympna was tha best Principal I ever had. The principles and values she instilled in me during my years in St Louis remain my guide till date. The exit of a rare gem.
Sr Dympna Durry and I used to sit on the same row in the Chapel during morning devotions.
I had a personal relationship with her.
I remember when she gave me the beating of my life because of my naughtiness.
But then she called me to explain what I did and why she was disappointed in me. That is oga we all loved and she cared for us all.
Rest on my beautiful guardian angel.

Dear Sr. Principal as we fondly called you. We are all a testament of your diligence and hardwork on the hills of Mokola, in the ancient city of Ibadan, South-West, Nigeria. The school you founded with the other Sisters of St. Louis in 1961, St. Louis Grammar School, Mokola, Ibadan is now huge and all your girls are excelling in all walks of life and are all over the globe. We are eternally grateful to you and you will always have a special place in our hearts. We sent you off beautifully on Monday, 13th Dec. 2021 and count ourselves so privileged to have known you and spend the latter years of your life visiting you. What a befitting High Mass celebrating the life of a woman who crossed the ocean over 60 years ago to come to Mokola Ibadan in West Africa. Her impact is still reverberating throughout the walls of the old school. Her impact was also evident at Mass today. Through all the sentiments expressed, especially from the old girls. As she joins the Saints Triumphant, I wish our Oga a speedy, peaceful and joyful reunion with the Lord God she served so well during her life time. Farewell. Thanks for my catechism and the sacraments you helped me receive. I am glad you saw me through receiving the Holy Order.

You gave many of us much love than any mother would ever give. Rest on Mama - we will pray for you as you ascend the heavenly throne of glory prepared for you and the many missionaries that gave us faith, hope and charity in Africa.
