Deepest sympathy to the Looby family and the Dominican Community on the death of Sr.Edmund. I remember her with great affection, her kindness, warm and open hearted personality, gentle sense of humour and her real concern for and interest in the staff, pupils and their families that made St. Michael’s such a happy school. She loved interacting with the children and they with her. I remember too the warm hug that greeted us at the start of the school year.
May she rest in peace.

She was warm, kindhearted with a great sense of humour, caring and supportive of the staff, children and parents , . She loved conversation , we were always greeted with her lovely smile and the door to her office was always open .

She fully lived out her vocation daily in the wonderful caring atmosphere she created as principal of St. Michaels School. As a young teacher she made school such a happy place for teachers and children to be in every day. She was always in good form and brought out the best in people. I was fortunate to have Sr Edmund as my Principal for a number of years when I was a young teacher in St Michael`s, Ballyfermot. She was a very supportive Principal, warm and caring to both staff and children. We have happy and fond memories of her time in the school.

Sr. Edmund was my first principal in my first job straight out of college. I remember her as a mother figure who made me feel welcome and included in the big family of St Michael's.
