Ella represented Doras Luimni on the Limerick Area Network on Violence Against Women. It was my pleasure to know her for some years. She will be missed. I extend sympathies to her family and colleagues at Doras Luimni.

I met Ella when she studied on the Masters in Ecology and Religion at All Hallow's College and was inspired by her stories of the work she did with her sisters in Brazil and with refugees in Ireland. Ella had a lovely smile and a gentle wry appreciation for humanity and I am really glad to have known her. I hope we meet again, further on up the road, God willing.
