Sincere sympathies to the Darcy family and the Sisters of Mercy on your loss. We were fortunate, like many others, to attend Scoil Bhanríon ne hEagna for our second level education. Sr Jerome was a shining light for education - banned corporal punishment long before the national ban. Treated us fairly and with respect, kindness and patience, whilst encouraging us to the get the best education possible.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
