It has been my honour and privilege to have worked with Louise in both Scoil Mhuire and Bunscoil McAuley Rice for many years. As a young teacher starting out Louise was an inspiration to me and I am proud to have been her Deputy Principal from the early 1990s. Louise became Principal and I, her Deputy, on the same day. To walk beside her was a blessing and I learned so much from her over our time in school. I have many happy memories of Louise. She was an amazing lady, a wonderful teacher and a true friend. Her sincerity and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many, many people. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

One of my first memories of starting school was the kindness shown to me by Sr. Louise & she has often been in my thoughts since. May she rest in peace.

Sr. Louise was the kind of teacher who’s genuine care of her students and enthusiasm for learning can still be felt 20 + years after being in her classroom. I am saddened to hear of her passing and my sympathies to her family and friends at this time.
