I was very saddened to read of the death of Máire who was a good friend of mine as we journeyed together at All Hallows College in the '90's Her gentle nature and loving friendship will be forever with me. We continued to keep in touch for many years. May Máire now rest in the peace of the Lord she loved and served so well especially in Mission lands.

On behalf of the Holy Spirit Sisters in Monze, I would like to convey our condolences to all the RSHMs in Ireland and Zambia, as well as Maire's family as you mourn your loss. What a time to chose to go Maire, wise woman, when you know everyone is praying for the faithful departed. You will be greatly missed by all the young Zambian women whose lives you touched. You gave all your youth to girl child education here in Zambia. You will surely live on in those young lives you mentored. Go and receive your reward from the one that called you. Catherine Dunne, Joan Larrisey, Sheila Morgan, Therese English will all be there to welcome you. You can all reminise and laugh about your experiences of Africa. Go well woman of God. Rest in God's eternal peace.
I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. All the best to Frank and Liam and all the Convery family. Best wishes, Colin
