Sr. Marian LARKIN

Condolences to all of Sr Marian's family and friends on her sudden passing.
I recall good memories of her in my years at North Great Georges St. I always think of her when I hear the song 'Moondance' which she loved. She looked after us well. May she rest in peace.

As a student in the class of 1985 I remember you as being very stern, but also very fair. I believe you had a genuine interest in every pupil in the school and wanted what was best for all of us. This is why I think you made a great principal of the school.

Rip Sr Marian A nice lady principal of north great George’s st For the 4 years I was there ! She gladly wished me well to the horror of my mother! Who wanted me to repeat ! Sr Marian actually took my side .

I am a past pupil of North Great George's Street. Sr Marian was not only a principal at the time but she also taught me maths in 5th and 6th year.

One lasting memory I have of her, was her telling us (several times) in 5th year was her dislike of "mathematical jargon" but she had to use it. Basically I think she wanted to teach us in an easier way, but couldn't, she had to follow a specific way.

A past pupil of our school as well as being a staff member and a member of the Loreto Community until 2015. A woman of remarkable and very strong faith. May Marian's dear soul rest in peace.
