Maureen, you always found ways to serve God. One of the ways you served him was you belonged to the Altar Society and took care of the altar in St. Mary's church. I remember one time you and I were walking home from church, when I about 9 yrs old, and a June bug flew in my hair, and while I was screaming, yelling, and jumping up and down, you pulled that bug out. You used to love shopping at Woolworths. So many memories! You are resting in a beautiful area now You are with God, so I know you are at peace. Please tell all the family hi for me. Sadly missed by your sister, Jeannie!
— Jeannie Farmer
My aunt Sr. Maureen has always been a blessing and inspiration to me. She was my mom's older sister. She lived her life for service to God and others. I especially felt a bond with her because she was a teacher as I. She sent me a card and said she was proud that I became a teacher of children like her and that made me feel so good. She would communicate and send cards to us even though she was far far away. When she came back to visit family in the US she always brought us beautiful Rosaries, smiles and kind words. We were and are so proud of her and the dedication she gave to ministry.

Sr Karoli you are missed , with a smile. You were my first friend when we moved to Boston . You took me to Our Lady of Fatima shrine and introduced me to the good Sisters at Foster St. You prayed for my college son Ken on his school trip to Kenya when I was so worried because he flew standby. You remained in touch from your sick bed in Dundalk. I know you are happy with Jesus and His Mother. I miss you and love you and pray for you and to you I thank you deeply.
