I have many happy memories of Sr. Nora in religion class as a student in Presentation Kilkenny and then also as a teacher myself some years later when she came to visit us in the staff room. I am very saddened by Sr. Nora’s passing. Many years ago, when I was twenty four, she accepted me into a Leaving Cert. class in Durrow. Her trust in me then, her encouragement and support, as well as her dedicated teaching, had a very great impact on the future direction of my life. I remember her with fondness and with gratitude. Retreat Centre, Wales. She was a member of the team there and highly regarded as a Spiritual Director.
