Sr. Norah Merrick

My sympathy to the Thurles community and family of Sr Nora. I have many happy memories of Sr. Nora and her generosity to us when she lived in Kilmacow and I lived in Larchville, Waterford. She would leave bags of fresh vegetables and logs for us, which we greatly appreciated and we were always welcome to join her community for retreats etc. May her noble soul reap the reward for all her goodness.

Sincere sympathy to the Merrick family and to the Presentation Community on the death of Sr. Norah. I had the great privilege to know her as a teacher in Fethard. May Sr. Norah rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Sr. Norah and I extend my sympathies to her family and the Presentation community. Sr. Norah was a huge support to me while she was Chairperson of the Board in the Primary School in Thurles. I am sorry to have missed her funeral as I was abroad. May she rest in peace.

We thank God for long & fruitful life of our beloved Sister Norah. We pray for the heavenly repose of her precious soul reunited with all her loved ones gone before her. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to her beloved Nieces, Nephews, Sister in Law, Extended Family, her beloved Presentation Community, her many friends in each place she served & The Management & Staff of Padre Pio Nursing Home. Sr. Norah was a teacher blessed with exceptional skills, Her wider services for the good of every community she worked in was quite immeasurable. It was a privilege to have known Sr. Norah, we shall fondly treasure her memory.
